Examination assignments

A reminder:

You probably want to make your project in a separate directory.

There should be a Makefile which should build the project (with the make command).

Do not forget also an adequate clean target in your makefile.

The main target of the examination project should be an intuitively named pdf file (like dvf-exam-erfc.pdf) with the report; and, possibly, a log-file.

The report on the examination project should be written in LaTeX using the article class or any other class. It should be around one or two pages long and should contain a short formulation of the practical assignment you solve; the answers on the theoretical questions; a short description of your implementation (which should be based on the GSL routines); and an illustrative figure created by pyxplot or gnuplot in pdf or latex formats. You can use either pdflatex or latex/dvipdf.

Remember to build the examination project before submitting.

You should sumbit the archives of two directories: the one with the drawn homework and the one with the examination project. At your convenience, either as two separate archives, if the digital-examination server allows it, or as one archive with two directories.

Now,
  1. Look up the homework problem(s) to submit, the theoretical question(s) to answer, and the practical assignment to implement from the table below from the row corresponding to your name.

  2. If the the drawn number, i, of the theoretical question to answer is larger than the total number, n, of the theoretical questions in the given homework, then

    i=(i mod n)+1 , (if i>n).

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
